@Rebulka: I think I have improved/added all tvar's on that page as needed. If I missed anything, please let me know. Thank you! --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 20:47, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Internet Explorer

Under the heading Browsers, we find:

A "browser" is a software application that people generally use to access the Internet. Examples of popular browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.

Support for Internet Explorer ended on 15 June 2022, so this should be replaced with a link to Microsoft Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge

Also, Firefox is the only one of these browsers whose underlying organisation even remotely aligns with the ideals of the Wikimedia Foundation, so it really should be mentioned first.

Thanks – McDutchie (talk) 19:40, 18 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for this note. I've updated the IE entry to Edge (in the subpage at Policy:Privacy_policy/Glossary_of_key_terms#Browsers). I'll pass along the feedback/recommendation for the ordering change (and I'll note to you and Legal that I personally agree with that recommendation). Definitions

The definitions header of the introduction seems to be included in the previous section. This causes misalignment and it should use a separate /RHeader, similar all other section. I have not done so yet, as it will trigger translation changes. TheDJ (talk) 14:14, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Let me know if you need help with this from me. I don't entirely understand the problem, but I suspect this is just your "note to self" (based on the "yet"), and if that's correct then there's no need to reply to me with any details! [Save us both time!]. :-) Cheers and happy new year. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 22:57, 8 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
