We appreciate your feedback! This survey will help us understand reader motivations for using the Wikipedia apps.

What Information We Collect

This survey collects the free-form response you provide to the question asked. It will also record the platform on which you are taking the survey, that is, if you are using an iOS or Android app.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

The results of this survey will be shared publicly, for the purpose of open analysis, research, and study. Responses will be published without attribution. For that reason, we strongly suggest that you do not provide your real name, username, email address, or other personal information in response to the question. Other collected data will only be shared with the Wikimedia staff, contractors and volunteers who need to process this information and are subject to non-disclosure obligations, with the exception of the circumstances described below.

We may disclose any collected information when required by law, when we have your permission, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public, and when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or any other Wikimedia policy.

By answering the free-form response question, you agree that we may record your answers, and agree to donate it to the public domain.
