This statement describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants. Please note that this survey is powered by Google Forms, and that Google's use of your information is governed by their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. In addition, responses to this survey will be coordinated through Calendly, and will be conducted through a Zoom number. Please be aware that use of each of these services is subject to the respective privacy policies and terms of Service. Purpose

We appreciate your feedback! This survey will help us to create mobile personas to help improve our mobile apps and platforms.

What Information we Collect

(1) This survey collects the responses you provide to the questions asked. There are two-types of answers: defined-response questions and combined questions that ask for a defined response and a free-form response questions. (2) In addition to any information included in your responses, we may view other collected information such as the email address used to contact you and the date and time of the contact.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

The raw answers to all questions will only be shared with the Wikimedia staff, contractors, service providers, and volunteers who need to process this information and are subject to nondisclosure obligations, with the exception of the circumstances described below. We may disclose any collected information when required by law, when we have your permission, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public, and when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or any other Wikimedia policy.

Licensing of Responses

By answering the free-form response questions, you agree that we may record your answers, and agree to donate them to the public domain.

Important Information

Wikimedia is a global organization committed to promoting free and open knowledge. By participating in this study, you agree to the transfer, storage, and use of the collected information to the United States and other places as may be necessary to carry out the purposes and objectives discussed above. You also consent to the transfer of information from the U.S. to other countries, which may have different or less stringent data protection laws than your country, in order to carry out the aforementioned purposes and objectives.

Wikimedia understands the importance of user privacy. For this reason, we work to protect our users from the unauthorized disclosure, use, or destruction of information we maintain.
