This statement describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants.
Purpose of Survey
We appreciate your participation! This survey will help us find editors from the Korean and Czech Wikipedias who are interested in participating in a research study on editor experiences.
What Information We Collect
This survey collects the responses you provide to the questions asked; there are two types of answers: defined responses, and free-form responses.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
The information collected in this survey will not be publicly shared. It will only be available to Wikimedia staff and contractors, as well as research organizations working with us on this project, all of whom are subject to nondisclosure obligations. The following exceptions also apply.
Wikimedia is a global organization committed to promoting free and open knowledge. By completing the survey, you agree to the collection, transfer, storage, processing and use of the collected information in the United States and other places as may be necessary to carry out the purposes and objectives discussed above. You also consent to the transfer of information from the U.S. to other countries, which may have different or less stringent data protection laws than your country, in order to carry out the aforementioned purposes and objectives.
Wikimedia understands the importance of user privacy. For this reason, we work to protect our users from the unauthorized disclosure or use of information we maintain. The results of this survey will be deleted within 90 days. See our data retention guidelines for more information.
For questions about the survey, or to access, update, or delete your answers, contact Neil Quinn at email@example.com. Thanks again for your interest in participating in our study!
