Hi. Translate link in the corner doesn't work. It takes me to: https://foundation.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate/page-Policy:Access_to_nonpublic_personal_data_policy/Summary&language=pl&action=page&group=%21additions&filter=%21translated

It should take me to: https://foundation.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=page-Policy%3AWikimedia+Foundation+Access+to+Nonpublic+Personal+Data+Policy&action=page&filter=&language=pl Nux (talk) 22:53, 23 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Done I've updated 7 instances of the old pagename. I think that should fix this problem, and potentially fixed other unreported problems? But I'm not entirely certain what some of those templates are doing, so please let me know if you see any other/new problems. Thanks for the bug report! Hi there! In the very last section of this policy titled "Violations", could someone please wiki-link the first mention of the "m:Ombuds commission" page? or at least enwiki's page for Ombuds commission? Thanks! -- OlEnglish (talk) 07:19, 27 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Done Link to Meta added, thanks. :-) Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 20:54, 27 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Age and ID verification

Hey y'all. With all the age and ID verification laws cropping up lately, I have a couple of questions about this policy:

  • The (a) Minimum age requirement says the individual must certify to the Wikimedia Foundation that they meet the minimum age required for the rights they are applying for. How is this "certification" done? Do you just take their word for it that they're over 16/18 years old when they sign the confidentiality agreement?
  • It seems like a (b) Valid, linked email address is the only personal information you require of users entrusted with access to sensitive, nonpublic personal data. Have you considered requiring individuals to identify themselves privately to the WMF, for example, by completing an identity verification process, before granting them access to thousands of users' sensitive, nonpublic personal data?

Thank you, Some1 (talk) 04:49, 6 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
