Purpose of the Survey
We are always looking to improve user experience so that the Wikimedia projects are useful to you. This survey will help us understand how and why users use the portal found at wikipedia.org.

The information described in this section shall be referred to as "collected information". All collected information may be retained indefinitely. See our data retention guidelines for more information.

You also consent to the transfer of your information by us from the U.S. to other countries, which may have different or less stringent data protection laws than your country, in connection with providing services to you.
We do not change our behavior in response to a web browser's "do not track" signal.
Please note that in the event of any differences in meaning or interpretation between the original English version of this privacy statement and a translation, the original English version takes precedence.
