Gifts

For the gift policy, what matters most is transparency. The complete lack of information in the minutes about gifts makes the ratification by the board less useful than it could be. There could be a range where acceptance of a gift is just notified to the board in a meeting, but certain specific details on the gift (as well as a summary of the discussion) are mandatorily included in the meeting minutes, with precise time limits on the maximum elapsed time between gift acceptance and publication of the minutes.
