Why we collect your information
This project will help us coordinate across stakeholders, identify topics for impact, and evaluate, iterate, and adapt our activities. We will use the information you provide to:
- Run the associated event or meeting
- Communicate with you further

How we collect your information
YouTube is used to host the meeting or stream the event; please read their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The event will be hosted on eventyay; please read their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
What information we collect
If you choose to participate, we will ask you to provide the following types of information:
Responses to questions- such as defined and free-form responses
Contact information- such as name, username, email address
Demographic information- such as nationality, gender
Payment information- such as name, address, bank information
Recordings- such as video, audio, photo
Sharing
Publishing: Contact information submitted during event registration will not be shared publicly. Recordings taken or live-streamed during the event will be published. Please turn your camera off and use a display name if you do not wish to be recorded. We will publish identifying data (such as direct quotes with attribution) and non-identifying data (such as anonymous quotes, statistics, or other aggregate data). Demographic information will only be published as non-identifying data. For an example, please review what we have published previously. To facilitate this publishing, you agree to donate your copyrightable contributions to the public domain under the terms of Creative Commons Zero 1.0.
Access: Raw data will only be shared with Wikimedia staff, contractors, service providers, and volunteers who need to process this information and are subject to non-disclosure obligations.
Other sharing: We may disclose any collected information when required by law, when we have your permission, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public, and when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or any other Wikimedia policy.
Protection
How long we keep your information
The raw data we collect will be deleted, de-identified, or aggregated within 90 days. Please note that if you agree to future contact, your contact information will be retained longer to enable that communication. See our data retention guidelines for more information.
