Updates
The last update seems (potentially) vastly incorrect: did you check what are actual registered marks? Usually, I doubt it's both the logo and the logo with the name under it. --Nemo 18:11, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
- I just want a resource where I can easily get a Wikimedia project logo with or without the text. This page seemed like a reasonable enough page to use. Rewriting the introductory page text or moving some of this content to Meta-Wiki may be a good idea. --MZMcBride (talk) 18:14, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
- It must be noted that this page also serves as "annex" to the trademark policy, so to say, so the content has to be fixed, rather than the lead. On the other hand, in that regard your edit has little or no practical consequences I hope, so it can wait a bit for a fix. --Nemo 18:40, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
I'm even more confused by the recent edit-and-revert, but glad to see someone at WMF is working on the page. --Nemo 17:28, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
Commons and Wikibooks
In June-July 2007, Florence informed us that 1) she had already registered the Wikipedia trademark in France and extended it to other Madrid countries, 2) as well as registered it in Japan and applied for in UK, 3) and that she was going to extend it to all Madrid countries and register it in Canada and Israel (cf. foundation-l mail; eternal thanks to Florence for personally taking care of this).
However, she also said she was registering Commons and Wikibooks in France, so I'm confused: why are those two wordmarks marked as not registered here? --Nemo 07:49, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
