Whereas, the Board of Trustees wishes to dedicate resources to providing greater and more sustained strategic support for the Foundation's community-facing work;
Now, therefore, it is:
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees creates a Community Affairs Committee;
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees adopts the Community Affairs Committee Charter as set forth below;
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees appoints as initial members of the Community Affairs Committee Shani Evenstein Sigalov (Chair), James Heilman, Esra'a Al Shafei, Dariusz Jemielniak, Nataliia Tymkiv (Alternate), and Jimmy Wales (Alternate), with the General Counsel (Amanda Keton) as staff liaison; and
RESOLVED, that the role of advising the Foundation's Community Resilience & Sustainability team, as specified in the Board's May 2020 Statement on Healthy Community Culture, Inclusivity, and Safe Spaces, will transfer from the Product Committee to the Community Affairs Committee.
