It may not be circumvented, eroded, or ignored by Wikimedia Foundation officers or staff nor local policies of any Wikimedia project. | This resolution revising the Mission and Vision statements was approved by vote (4 supports, 3 absentions) on 11 April 2007. |
Whereas the Wikimedia Foundation Board has, in consultation with the chapters and the community, debated and revised the mission and vision statement of the Foundation.
It is hereby resolved that:
- The new Mission Statement of the Foundation shall reflect the text at //meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mission/Unstable&oldid=521244
- The new Vision Statement of the Foundation shall reflect the text at //meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vision/Unstable&oldid=470952
