About me

I am a Legal Fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation since September 2015.

I am a graduate of the Université libre de Bruxelles and the University of California, Berkeley. I spent a great deal of my childhood locked up in my room, surfing and learning online. As a result, I am what people would nowadays call a full-stack developer, although I'd rather describe myself as a polymath, because frankly that sounds better and much more pretentious.

I just saw Holy Motors and thought it was brilliant. I like Leonard Cohen, Federico Fellini, and David Lebovitz.

My work

I assist the Wikimedia Foundation's Legal team in ensuring that legal hassles stay out of the way of the Foundation's mission. I am especially interested in international legal issues.

Disclaimer: I work for the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I intend to use for edits or statements I make in that role. However, the Foundation does not vet all my activity, so edits, statements, or other contributions made by this account may not reflect the views of the Foundation.
