Unusual

Jumped from en:WP (logged in) to Meta WM board of trustees elections page, and universal login failed to login me there. There was asked if I could translate. Text in Slovenian might increase interest for these elections in Slovenia, so I translated offered text, but couldn't publish (supposedly because I was not logged in). When I tried to login, I was shown a message that there were unpublished translations (that would sup supposedly get lost if I left the page, but message about that was not explicit). When I logged in (in new tab) explicitly, I still didn't succeed to make the previously open page, with translations waiting to be published, aware of being logged in, without leaving page, and loosing translations already written.

I was curious and retranslated a piece of text (Volitve članov v svet zaupnikov fundacije Wikimedia) and stil couldn't publish. Message was: Publishing the translation failed: You do not have permission to edit pages in the CNBanner namespace. That is understandable (why it was protected), but in that case the script offering me to translate it might want to check that before offering it. 20210617.

Regarding Wikisource

(this meta page is replicated there): I try to do other (noncomputer) things for most of the time I can, but I'll do corrections (including proofreading) and translations of stuff I can (I know enough about - and when I learn how - I was unsuccessful with translation process up to now, and any help with that would be wellcome). I'll learn about proofreading so that what I do shall be done correctly. Up to now I corrected OCR mistakes encountered while reading, but did not mark pages I went through (and either corrected or with no errors I found).
