Shouldn't this template include meta? –NWilson (WMF) (talk) 22:02, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Quiddity, and congratulations on your new position at the WMF! In reply to your question, it could, but we would need to change the format from a simple rectangle because 13 is a prime number. If you can either think of a new layout or add some more projects (incubator, wikitech), then it could work. Maybe If you do so, you should update m:Template:OurProjects and collect translations (e.g., Template:OurProjects-de) as well. Regards, PiRSquared17 (talk) 23:43, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you!
I had briefly checked the history, and saw an incremental addition, but now I see that it was only at 11 projects for 3 weeks, until MediaWiki was added.
The layout should be changed anyway, because HTML tables are not a recommended design tool, but I'm out of practice (and date) with CSS, so I'll pass the buck. NWilson (WMF) (talk) 20:37, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think we should collect translations? I didn't notice that it used to use a non-rectangular pattern. Maybe I can help with CSS, but there are more experienced people. PiRSquared17 (talk) 23:38, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe. But in addition to the layout issue mentioned above, this template is an attachment to our projects, of course. The two should be kept in-sync and we've previously established that we should only include content projects, not internal projects (I think). We could add Labs and Meta-Wiki to sync with https://www.wikimedia.org, maybe. It seems like one of those situations where changing any small piece is going to create a lot of work. :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 23:50, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If we do this, we should probably add Incubator too, which is somewhere between a content project and a backstage project. PiRSquared17 (talk) 01:03, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wikifunctions

Add new sister project, Wikifunctions. Wargo (talk) 18:43, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to have been done in October, and was marked for translation right after so should have been visible immediately - Let us know if there are problems displaying it somewhere/somehow? Otherwise, thanks for the note! Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 00:07, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
