Please delete my user talk page on this site

A random new user just added some gibberish to my user talk page(User talk:通界互聯). Apart from that there's nothing else on my talk page. Is it alright to delete my talk page completely? If so, please delete it. Thank you! 通界互聯 (talk) 09:07, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Done, and thanks for all your edits here! Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 18:30, 12 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

GFDL

Hi! Wiki no longer use or encourage the use of the GFDL so I have made a suggestion at MediaWiki talk:Licenses to remove GFDL. I know it is not used very often but I think it would send a nice signal to remove it. I have been trying to "kill" GFDL across all wikis for many months now and as a part of that I have suggested that the few existing (files could be moved to Commons per this proposal. Done. Thanks again. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 16:52, 1 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Chinese translations for sidebar interfaces

Please help create or update the following interfaces translation for the sidebar:

Thanks in advance. Ericliu1912 (talk) 02:52, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

And if possible, please consider giving me translation administrator permission as well, to streamline the process for other Mandarin translations. Ericliu1912 (talk) 02:53, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
You can find the criteria for translation administrators at Wikimedia:Accounts policy#Translation administrator rights. --Ameisenigel (talk) 16:43, 13 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

We need thesaurus for Wikimedia jargons

I feel the need to link jargons inline for Transparency, while fully aware that is bad-manner or is crossing the line as a translator. Could we either:

  • wikify and link jargons inline to the first place it appears within basic instructions;
  • and ideally, make a single thesaurus pages, or
  • even guide readers to Legal / accounting page or anywhere appropriate.

One example will be as follows, which involves monetary handling of expenses, that could influence Grants / Funds.

This flag is for the benefit of internationalization/translators in fact, and maybe rooted excessively in the daily life of a wiki editor (: -- Omotecho (talk) 03:17, 13 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Dark mode compatibility

Hello, could any admins please follow up on these dark mode error reports: Privacy policy & Term of Use, Visual identity guidelines? Thanks. SCP-2000 (talk) 16:17, 22 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks again (per Meta-wiki). The first 2 are done now.
I've asked the Brand team how they want to handle the remaining images that have problems. Quiddity (WMF) (talk) 00:15, 25 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
