This wiki does not exactly follow the same rules as the other Wikimedia projects, since it is not open to all for editing, and in case of disagreement, the mechanism for making decisions will be handled by the Wikimedia Foundation staff or Board of Trustees.

It is managed by Wikimedia Foundation staff and contractors, primarily within the Communications and Legal departments.

W październiku 2021 roku wszystkie zarejestrowane konta na innych wiki Wikimedia uzyskały dostęp do edycji stron dyskusji i użytkowników tej wiki, a także mogły wspierać tłumaczenie treści tej wiki na języki inne niż angielski.

Edytowanie zwykłych stron treści jest ograniczone do zatwierdzonych kont edytorów.

Administratorzy na tej wiki

Kiedyś wśród administratorów znajdowali się różni pracownicy Fundacji oraz wolontariusze spoza Fundacji. Od maja 2013 tylko zarząd Fundacji oraz jej pracownicy mogli być administratorami na tej stronie (choć nadal ludzie spoza fundacji mogli otrzymywać tymczasowe uprawnienia administratora). Stewardzi oraz administratorzy globalni mają także uprawnienia administracyjne na tej wiki.

Od 11 października 2023, grupa głównych administratorów odpowiedzialna jest za utrzymywanie Wikimedia Foundation Governance Wiki, a jej członkowie to:
